Record your session with your GoPro, but first make sure that the GPS is enabled and that the camera had time to locate enough satellites and get a GPS lock, so you get good quality data.
Turn on your GoPro at least 5 minutes before start recording usin the power button on the side(just turn on, do not start recording) and leave it in a place with an open view of the sky. This is necessary, because when you first power the GoPro it will scan the sky for avaliable sattelites but, once you start recording, it will cease to search
Mount the GoPro with a clear view of the sky, preferably outside the vehicle or fixed underneath the sun roof or windshield, and allways upright. The GPS will work with the camera inside te vehicle, however positioning error will be bigger
